Poppy Projecting: Sky Tower Anzac Lighting…. and the Auckland Museum

‘Lest We Forget’ This week the Sky Tower is wearing a 13-metre poppy to commemorate Anzac Day. To all those reading around the world, Anzac Day is the national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand commemorating all the Australians and New Zealanders who have served and died in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations. As usual I headed over to get few shots – this time it was a little different as I had to shoot from the opposite side of the city. Experimenting with different locations wasn’t without it’s risks, I was almost run over… twice! I …

The Royals Visit Auckland

So today I met the Duchess of Cambridge… got a good handshake too! The Duke and Duchess were welcomed to Auckland’s Viaduct with massive cheers and a torrential downpour this afternoon (seriously… I got SOAKED!). With my Queen photographs doing so well, I thought I would head down and shoot my fellow Brits as they continue their tour of New Zealand! Does Kate ever take a bad photo? No! She looks just as good in real life! Check out some of the shots: The Sky Tower will continue to glow Royal purple tonight to commemorate the visit. Head on over to Auckland …

Earth Hour Auckland

Earth Hour is an annual event coordinated by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to raise awareness of climate change and other environmental causes. As usual I was out for SKY CITY getting a few shots! Check them out! Before:After:   Head on over to Auckland Photographer for more PR, commercial and event photography.

Balloons over Hobbiton

I was lucky enough to head back to Hobbiton for a third time last weekend to photograph the Balloons over Hobbiton event! What an amazing night! It’s always a pleasure and an honour to be asked to shoot at Hobbiton – I will never get bored of it! If you have yet to go to any of the Waikato balloon events do it before it finishes on Sunday, they are incredible! I’ll keep this blog short and sweet and let the photos do the talking! I look forward to heading back for exciting new shoots in the future! Head on …
