Today Her Majesty The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh visited Liverpool as part of the Diamond Jubilee tour. During their visit the Royal couple took a trip on the amphibious Yellow Duckmarine around the Albert Dock, before visiting the city’s Merseyside Maritime Museum. I went down to take a few snaps! Over the weekend an estimated 600,000 people watched in awe and amazement as huge giants explored the city of Liverpool. Three giant marionettes, a 50ft man, a 30ft girl, and a 9ft dog, spent the weekend traversing the streets, in one of the cities biggest events commemorating the 100 year anniversary of the Titanic disaster. Here are a few more photo’s from the weekend.
Lovely afternoon photographing a brand new ship down at the Ports of Liverpool. Seatruck currently has one large ferry named Progress operating on their busy Liverpool-Dublin route. I got called down to the Ports of Liverpool to shoot the second ferry in the series, Seatruck Power. The third Seatruck vessel is going to be revealed later this year. Heres some shots of the original ship Progress. For more PR, commercial and Event Photography head over to my homepage.
