Liverpool Light Night – Cathedral Candle Maze

Today has been a great day for photos, earlier on I photographed Cunard's Luxury Liner the Queen Mary 2 and tonight is Liverpool Light Night! Here are some shots from the candle maze at the Liverpool Cathedral this evening! Wish I could stay and photograph more of the event but that 4am start is catching up with me and I have to get to Skem for the bro's big birthday bash tomorrow! Cunard Queen Mary 2 arrives in Liverpool… Pity about the weather!

Today the Cunard luxury ocean liner Queen Mary 2 arrived in Liverpool and having seen it a couple of times, it still amazes me! I got up early (4am!) and I headed over to the Wirral for a possible sunrise shot.... obviously being in Britain, this didn't happen! Instead my fingers froze and I didn't get the shot I wanted! Last night I headed over to Liverpool Cathedral to photograph Rhythm and Rap as part of the In Other Words Literary Festival, what an amazing evening it turned out to be! Great performances by singer songwriter Kof and 1Xtra favourite Ady Suleiman. Loving the genius of Harry Baker the World Poetry Slam Champion, some truly unforgettable dinosaur noises! What a dazzling evening of lyrical artistry! As always the Cathedral provided a spectacular back drop! Here are some photos from the event! ...

Had a fantastic evening last night photographing Reclaim the Night Liverpool, what a brilliant turn out! Reclaim the Night Liverpool is a march campaigning for an end to violence against women, challenging street harassment and ending rape culture. I followed the march through Liverpool City Centre snapping away at every possible opportunity! It's amazing to see so many people making a stand to end violence and harassment towards women! Getting Framed Up…

I've recently decided to start framing and possibly selling some of my photos, I feel as though I only use my personal shots on blogs and it would be great to see some of them framed up and on walls. I'm currently enjoying my last few months in Liverpool by making the most of it with my camera... I will definitely miss this place come September! As I've mentioned in previous posts Liverpool's skyline is probably one of the best in Britain and I've made it my goal to try and capture it in as many different ways as I can.
